COIL MAINSPRING CONVERSION KITS, UBERTI
This coil mainspring conversion kit replaces the stiff flat mainspring that comes in Uberti made rifles. The forward strut mounts to the hammer by riding on two ball bearings that are free to roll up and down the inner curve on the back of the hammer.
This movement adjusts the leverage on the hammer, resulting in a constant tension on the hammer, from its full forward position to its fully cocked position. It will significantly reduce the effort required to work the action. Installation instructions are included.
The Model 66 kits are the same as the 73 kits. The difference is in the installation instructions.
