The stainless steel magazine tube follower replaces the factory orange plastic followers. Everyday use will cause the plastic followers to crack and break. When this happens it will cause your magazine spring to stick inside the magazine tube. We also recommend replacing the spring with a new stainless steel spring at the same time. Stainless steel followers and stainless steel springs will not rust. Protecting your magazine tube. We also carry the stainless steel magazine tube springs.
