This is a beautiful Navajo Sterling Silver and Leather Concho Belt. This belt was made in the 1970's by Navajo artist and silversmith Jimmy John Jr. for his wife Jessie and was purchased directly from them. Excellent workmanship, the conchos are a combination of raised repousse and stamp work. This concho belt measures 42" from tip to tip, 37" to 39" is the length from the closest to furthest holes. There are 12 conchos. Each concho is held onto the belt with a copper brace. Each concho measures 2 3/4" x 2 1/4". The buckle measures 2 3/16" x 2 3/4". The belt including the leather weighs 14.65 oz.
